My Civil Air Patrol squadron is having an end-of-year awards night on December 8th, and I'm going to be getting promoted! My new rank is Cadet Senior Airman. I've also gotten inducted into the Florida Wing Cadet Honor Society! I got a 96 on my last test, so I have a over 90 average on my first 3 promotions, qualifying me for the Honor Society. My squadron commander sent off the paperwork, so it should be official soon. If everything goes well, I'll get a shoulder cord and certificate presented at the awards night.
